About Us

Jagad Culture House is a forum for the younger generation as successors to cultural preservation, as well as a space for arts activists working in the performing arts, particularly in the creative development of gamelan music and its forms. It also fosters various disciplines, such as design and applied art (architecture, interior design, textiles, crafts, and others).
As an institution, Jagad Culture House’s mission is to support efforts to preserve Indonesian culture through practical mentoring in the arts, which is an essential part of the learning process. Jagad Culture House’s commitment is demonstrated through innovation in gamelan music development, artistic creation, creative learning, and providing access to the arts for the wider community.
Furthermore, Jagad Culture House provides a physical space for arts activities and plays a role in designing and implementing programs that positively impact the development of Indonesian performing arts. Its activities also involve cross-sector collaboration across various art genres, including traditional, modern, and contemporary. In its activities, Jagad Culture House carries out numerous cross-sector collaborations within ABCG (Academic, Business, Community, and Government).
